  1. This book was definitely a page turner. It had different events that all led up to the reasoning or the main purpose of the killing of Gabriel. I really liked how there were a few chapters from Alicia's diary because it gave me a background of her life and foreshadowed some clues of why she wouldn't talk and etc. I couldn't put it down the last 100 pages, it was on edge and everything that was said and happening was making sense.

  2. This book was very intriguing right from the very beginning. When you read Alicia's diary and she says she is "not going to talk about that" to "keep things happy" I was interested. The author did a good job of not giving away what was going to happen and had various possibilities that made you wonder what would happen in the end.

  3. The Silent Patient was a very good read I was very intrigued by Alicia's diary. The first couple of pages were a little slow for me but after 20 pages I was hooked. I couldn't put the book down around chapter 8 when Theo was finding relatives if Alicia and non of her relatives wanted to talk to her. I thought that was very weird and I wanted to know why her family wasn't trying to help her or get her to talk. I also was interested in Alicia's diary's because I never really knew what she was going to say about Gabriel or about her family. I thought that the author was really good at catching my attention and I loved this book.

  4. I am usually the type of person to get lost in a book and with how this started I really liked it but I just was struggling to keep reading like it's a good book and I really like it but I would just get bored at times and have to put the book down. I think this is more a problem with my attention span at the moment however. I really liked how easy it was to follow between the diary and Theo's perspective. It was a good book but didn't keep my attention.

  5. This book was hard for me to put down, I feel like it really helped that you got to read some of Alicia's diary. You also don't know if Alicia's going to speak again. I really only got bored when you would hear about Theo's life, it was interesting when he was trying to find out if his wife was cheating on him. Also as you got closer to the end and everything is starting to make sense it really had my attention.

    1. I agree that Theos life was a little more boring to read but once I got to the end I realized how all of it was needed to put everything together.

  6. This book was hard for me to put down. It was a little hard to get into the first 25 pages, but I feel that is normal for any book. After that I wanted to read it all the time, I absolutely loved this book. I wanted to know who did everything the whole time. I wanted Alicia to speak again. I was so intrigued when she gave Theo her journal. Throughout the whole book I felt it was a page turner,

  7. I didn't want to stop reading this book it was amazing. Once you got a little into the book i just felt like i really wanted to know what was going to happen. During the entire book i didn't understand how the author would end the book because there were a lot of loose knots that had to be figured out. when i couldn't stop reading was when Alicia's diary showed up it gave so much more to the book with that.

  9. This book is a page turner because you never fully know what's happening or what's going to happen next. They didnt give out a lot of information on the why behind it all, so you had to keep reading to find out. This book was not very slow to get started, in the first page they start talking about the murder. Im usually not a big fan of mystery books so at the beginning i wasnt as into it, but as i kept reading I just couldnt put it down. When it got to the point where Alicia gave Theo her diary, thats when I couldnt put it down because we were finding out a lot of new information. At the end when Alicia started talking I couldnt put it down either.

  10. Once I had reached the point in the book where Alicia is drugged into a coma, I found the book very hard to put down. This is around the point where the mystery begins to unravel, and all the pieces fall into place. The parts where Theo is attempting to catch Kathy while cheating were also fun to read, and they often display the depravity of Theo's character, willing to give into his base impulses. As with many books, the first few chapters serve to build up the world and characters, and so were a little more tedious to get through.

  11. Trying to figure out what actually happened and wanting to know why Alica is silent is what made this book a page turner for me. Especially at the end the book was super hard to put down, when Alica was talking about how she knew it was Theo that was the stalker and the diary. The book did confuse me at times, like when Theo started talking about his wife and the whole cheating thing, but as I got towards the end I knew why that was all in there.

  12. The Silent Patient is worth the read. At the beginning it's a bit slow but once you start trying to put the pieces together yourself it speeds up as you want to know why Alicia never spoke again. And the end is entirely worth it, when everything comes together, and it clicks it's an amazing feeling. And I expected after a while Alicia shot her husband because he was cheating but for there to be a mysterious masked figure in the mix is something no one will expect.

  13. I would definitely consider this book a page turner. I got hooked immediately and could not put it down. I was so curious why Theo was so interested in treating Alicia and if he would ever get her to talk. The ending was definitely the best part. The plot twist I did not see coming was just so great. I could not stop reading. Overall a great read.

  14. I definitely thought this book was a page turner. I was intrigued from the beginning and always wanted to find out what was going to happen. I wanted to find out why Alicia killed Gabriel. Unlike the other characters in the book I didn't think she was lying about a man watching her and I was interested on finding out who it was, especially since Jean Felix and Max were so suspicious. The last 100 pages roughly was were I couldn't put the book down. The mystery was all starting to come together and I couldn't stop reading. After Alicia's first fake story about the murder, I thought the one in her diary was fake too, and I was shocked when I found out it was true. It was a great plot twist and I was captivated by the whole ending of the book.

  15. This page did strike me as a page turner because of the mystery aspect and how well-written the storyline was. I was intrigued from the start and never really got bored of the story because it was broken up between Theo's point of view and Alicia's diary. I really loved the addition of her diary, and how it served as her voice when she wasn't using hers. It kept my attention very well and did a fantastic job of progressing the plot. I was especially into this book toward the end, around when Alicia begins to talk to Theo and right before the twist was revealed. With all the anticipation built up and the sense that we were about to get to the bottom of it, it was hard to put down. Once I knew the truth, however, it was a little slower to pick back up because it had already created a sense of finality.
